The SickKids Board of Trustees provides governance and oversight to support the hospital’s mission, strategy and long‑term sustainability. Board members bring a wide range of expertise and work closely with hospital leadership to advance the health and well‑being of children and families.
Chair, Board of Trustees
Kathleen (Katie) Taylor is the current Chair of the SickKids Board of Trustees and Past Chair of SickKids Foundation.
Vice Chair, Board of Trustees
Yongah Kim is currently serving as the Vice Chair of the SickKids Board of Turstees. Kim is a professor at the Rotman Business School in the Strategy Area.
Vice Chair, Board of Trustees
Frank Vettese formerly served as Deloitte Canada’s Managing Partner and Chief Executive. Vettese joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2018 and is currently serving as the Vice Chair.
Clara Angotti is the Co-founder and President of Next Pathway. Angotti joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2018.
Tye Bousada is Founding Partner, President and Co-Chief Executive Officer of EdgePoint Investment Group Inc. He joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2025.
Jessica Chutter is the Vice Chair and Chair of Biotechnology Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. Chutter joined the Board of Trustees in 2020.
Rola Dagher is Global Channel Chief at Dell Technologies since 2020. Dagher joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2023.
John Graham is the President & Chief Executive Officer of CPP Investments. Graham joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in June 2024.
Nitin Jain is the President and CEO of Sienna Senior Living. He joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2025.
Deland Kamanga is the Group Head for BMO Wealth Management, leading the strategic direction for a broad range of businesses. Kamanga joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2020.
Konata Lake is a partner at Torys LLP. Konata joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2023.
Kelly LaRocca serves as the Chief of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. LaRocca joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2023.
Bharat Masrani is the former Group President and Chief Executive Officer of TD Bank Group, having officially retired in July 2025. Masrani joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2018.
Mr. Medline is the President & Chief Executive Officer of The Woodbridge Company Limited and former President & Chief Executive Officer of Empire Company Limited and Sobeys Inc. Medline joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2023.
Hratch Panossian is Senior Executive Vice-President and Group Head of Personal and Business Banking, Canada, at CIBC. Panossian joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2024.
Keith Pelley is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE). Pelley joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2025.
John M. Sullivan is the former CEO of The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited (Cadillac Fairview). Sullivan joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2016.
Beth Wilson is a respected senior strategic business leader and corporate director. Wilson joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2017.
Melanie A. Woodin is an internationally recognized neuroscientist and the 17th President of the University of Toronto. Woodin joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2025.
